Listen to neo-soul collective Billy Davis' funked out new single, No Longer Lovers

The recent Good Manners signees will get you grooving.

If you dig the upbeat grooves of artists like Kaytranada, Anderson Paak and The Internet (who are all currently smashing it), you're onto a winner with neo-soul up and comers Billy Davis. The Melbourne outfit, who recently signed with Good Manners, features up to 11 members when performing live and they're custom built for the stage - which will become evident as soon as you've listened to their vibrant new tune, No Longer Lovers. The single is out first taste of the collective's forthcoming, second record; the follow up to this year's debut effort, Bad Endings. Billy Davis band leader William Rimmington spoke of No Longer Lovers being up the next chapter in the story told across Bad Endings: "Our last album told the story of a breakup of some people I knew...I guess No Longer Lovers is a follow up and a final goodbye to the person on the other end of Bad Endings, and a new beginning as well." You can catch Billy Davis playing dates around Melbourne over the next few months.

TOUR DATES:

October 23: Himalayas Players Club, Howler (Melbourne)

November 17 - 20: Strawberry Fields (The Wildlands, VIC)
