LANKS releases intimate, self-made video for Holla and announces tour dates

Ahead of the release of his Viet Rose EP this Friday.

You'd be hard pressed to bring to mind an Australian artist who's had more of a breakout year than LANKS. You've undoubtedly heard his lush singles Golden Age and Bitter Leaf, both cuts from his third EP, Viet Rose, which is due out this Friday. The Melbourne DIY lord has even helped in directing and shooting the video for newest single, Holla, alongside housemates Will Devereux and Elliot Hutchinson. The intimate video for Holla sees LANKS submerged in a bathtub, while twirling colours, patterns and images are projected over him. The Viet Rose EP, named after LANKS' favourite Melbourne laksa restaurant, is dedicated to the multi-talented musician's family and friends, and features collabs with Big Scary's Tom Iansek and Brisbane songstress Airling. The Melbourne talent has also announced that he'll be hitting the road for a co-headline tour with loop-pedal genius Hein Cooper, playing a stack of dates around the country this December.

TOUR DATES:

Thu, Dec 1 - The Basement, Sydney
Fri, Dec 2 - Miranda Hotel, Miranda
Thu, Dec 8 - Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane
Fri, Dec 9 - Nightquarter, Gold Coast
Sat, Dec 10 - The V Room, Noosa
Thu, Dec 15 - Workers Club, Geelong
Fri, Dec 16 - The Curtin, Melbourne
