Premiere: RAAVE TAPES drop a 10/10 vid for SUDS, announce Aus tour

The Newcastle group take the "don't be a dickhead" theme of SUDS to the next level in another hilariously great clip.

When it comes to musical acts in Australia right now, RAAVE TAPES are a triple-threat. They're pushing out some incredible music (like the nostalgic, dance-punk sounds of 2 U xoxo or the ketamine-influenced break-out k bye for example), pairing them with incredible videos (the Saddle Club-themed video for k bye is still one of the best we've seen in a long while), and, perhaps best of all, they're just three incredible people doing great things. SUDS, their most recent affair, is an amalgamation of all three, bringing together their trademark synth-rock sound with a message encouraging folks to call out dickhead behaviour at gigs, and now, another hilarious video clip.

Arriving ahead of an Australia-wide tour over the next two months (check out the full list of dates at the end of this article), the video clip for SUDS is a bit of a humour-filled take on the single's message, highlighting some of the general shitty characters you often come across at shows and clubs. There's the classic move of bumping and pushing in front of people while lining up for drinks, changing the music while everyone's vibing what's on (from The Veronica's Untouched off all bangers to change songs from), and perhaps worst of all, bumming cigs off randoms and then pocketing their lighters. Give it a peep below:
