Following up her impressive 2022 debut EP Along The Way is Naarm/Melbourne’s Jas. who makes her return with the upbeat and breezy slice of indie pop that is EASY, out June 28 but premiering on Pilerats today!
Produced by SwimGood, EASY is a dreamy, floating cut that pairs mellow drum breaks and bass lines with shimmering guitars providing the perfect accompaniment to Jas.’ honeyed vocals that explore “the transformative power of finding the right person to share your life with”.
Expanding on this, Jas. explains “My EP was filled with introspective lyrics and layered meanings so, for this first release, I really wanted to offer something light-hearted and direct. Relationships aren’t easy, but when the right person comes along, you make time, learn to compromise, communicate, and are open to making sacrifices; It’s surprising how easy and effortless it can be.”
