Lido's Diplo & Friends Mix

You know you're being earmarked for hugeness when global dancefloor tastemaker Diplo invites you to do one of his BBC1Extra Diplo & Friends mixes. Cashmere Cat's bestie, Norwegian producer Lido, from the Pelican Fly record label (Richelle, Mr Tweeks) recently got on board and his 60 minute mix is devastatingly good.

As well as a whole bunch of new Lido dubs, there's Lido's recent slow-burning remix of The Weeknd’s Often, a classic cut from Boyz II Men, a cover of Justin Timberlake's Cry Me A River, as well as Ariana Grande, Yung Lean, ZHU, and of course, Cashie. The highlight in a long list of highlights is Lido’s version of '70s soul classic Ain’t No Sunshine by Bill Withers – there’s bubbles, there’s builds, and you can just imagine this going down a treat in the club, the heart-warming breather in an otherwise fast-paced set.
