Come hang with us at the UWA Tav tomorrow for ODAY

We're throwing on some chilled some acoustic acts while you have a tipple instead of making decisions RE: this semester.

The first semester of university 2016 is coming up faster than you can say 'what am I doing with my life', and University Of Western Australia's 2016 ODAY will once again take over the grounds with a heap of different clubs for you to join for a mini mini carnival on the Oak  Lawn and a display of clubs as far as the eye can see. There's gonna be choices and clubs trying to lock you down into year-long contracts from all over the shop, and that's where we come into play. From midday tomorrow we're gonna be stopping by the University Of WA Tavern for a couple of frothies while some good friends/talented musicians play a few tunes in the courtyard.

From midday til 3pm stop by the UWA Tavern Courtyard to hear the soothing sounds of Phocal, Mel Jackson and Marmalade Mama while you sit down and discuss how you got nothing done over the holidays, before weekly club night CHEEK takes over the Tav with a bunch of DJs and party tunes to take you right through to Friday night. To get you primed here's some tracks from our courtyard lovelies, see you at the Tav *BEER CHEERSING EMOJI DOTH GO HERE*.

Mel Jackson is an act that’s flown under the radar until now, but her indie, melodic voice and complimentary ukulele skills will grab your attention or at least your ears even amongst the hustle and bustle of a bar or outdoor venue.

Phocal offers a more bluesy jazz-funk alternative. They will be sure to showcase songs from their debut EP Moods and are a great act to kick the Tav vibe up a notch.

Marmalade Mama have been rocking bluesy-tunes all over Perth for a while now, and are stripping things back as the day warms up.

So be sure to come down to the Tav from 12-3 tomorrow to see these Perth gems live in action!
