Premiere: Listen to a deep new cut from Perth youngster Boneflip

True to our word, we're keeping our eye on one of our Arcadia Ones To Watch winners.

Philippe Kilpatrick, AKA Boneflip, is a producer we earmarked as one to watch last year through our Arcadia competition, which Kilpatrick playing the opening set of the festival's first show ever in Australia. With a background in classical music that includes piano, trombone and bass guitar, his productions even in this early stage show a maturity some could only dream of, and so we're excited to premiere a new single from the guy, Quantum, for you today.

It's a deep cut, which has a touch of Orbital about it, and is also not afraid to change things up here and there, almost melding into a bit of two-step at times, and filled deep grooves, deeper bass, punchy kicks, swelling/light synths, and proper hi-hats to make the whole thing a rather pleasant journey from start to finish. Check it out below, and catch him in Perth at a couple of upcoming shows (dates down the bottom):

UPCOMING SHOWS:
