Pilerats Ones To Watch Competition: Wanna play a set at Arcadia Australia?

Pilerats Ones To Watch Competition: Wanna play a set at Arcadia Australia?

We're looking for 3 producer/DJs to open each night of Arcadia Australia this November, including one U18.

At Pilerats we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of electronic music in Australia, with a particular focus on discovering new talent either via our website, or record label, Pilerats Records (home to the likes of Sable, Lower Spectrum and Leon Osborn). In the spirit of discovery, and looking for new artists to watch, we're teaming up with Arcadia Australia to find three WA-based producers to take opening set honours each night of the 50-tonne Spider’s stay in Perth, this November 25-27.

You’ll be some of the first artists to ever play in Australia in Glastonbury’s globally renowned Arcadia Spider, joining the likes of Leftfield (DJ set), Alison Wonderland, Shy FX and Carmada over three days at Perth’s Elizabeth Quay.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for producers who are also able to play a 30-minute DJ set, so entrants must submit a 30-minute mix that features at least one original production or remix by the entrant.

We're also looking for THREE different winners, one to play opening set each night of Arcadia Australia, including one entrant aged 13-17 to play the Sunday 13-17 year-old show.

HOW TO ENTER:

- Send us your 30-minute mix via private Soundcloud link (preferred) or Dropbox/Wetransfer.

- Send us a bio with some information about yourself.

- Nominate which night you want to play; FRIDAY (Leftfield (DJ Set), Shy FX, Loston, Black & Blunt, Kovaxx), SATURDAY (Alison Wonderland, Carmada, Elk Road, Zeke Beats, Luude) or SUNDAY (13-17s: Alison Wonderland, Carmada, Elk Road, Mashd N Kutcher).

The competition starts September 7 and runs until October 7, submit your entries via info@pilerats.com with ONES TO WATCH ARCADIA COMP in the subject header.

*Winners will be judged by the team at Pilerats, our writers, and label artists, on both the quality of their own production and mix. Along with the set at Arcadia, winners will also receive an interview feature on Pilerats.com.

*Winners must also be Perth-based, or able to get themselves to, and accomodate themselves in, Perth that weekend.
