The Swiss version of the Bachelor is getting contestants to do shoeys

HAHAHAHA.

Look, when it comes to The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, we here at Pilerats like to ride a high horse and choose not to talk about or report on it in any way other than to encourage you not watching it and catching up with mates at the pub instead. Because it's really stupid. So with that in mind, let it be known this post is kinda keeping in line with that ethos, because shoeys are something you enjoy with your mates. But it appears the Swiss Bachelor is taking shoeys out of the hands of us beloved Australians and to a worldwide stage, and the next level - encouraging contestants vying for his affection to join him in drinking alcohol from a shoe. We dare not wonder how many of you have done a shoey before, but we have a feeling there's not many of you who've done it out of what looks like an expensive woman's shoe ('cause you know, it's shiney) on a TV dating show. Kudos to you, Der Bachelor Switzerland.

THE SWISSE BACHELOR MAKES CONTESTANT DRINK FROM HER SHOE, BECA...

You thought The Bachelorette Australia was getting interesting, Der Bachelor (Schweiz) is kinda nek level.
