Coming in extremely chill are the dreamy pair of Colombian singer-producer Ela Minus and NYC-based DJ Python with the tranquil and soothing sonic pulsations of Kiss U, the latest single from their forthcoming EP , out this Friday September 16.

Showing just how mellow chopped drum breaks can be, Kiss U pairs these propulsive drums with spaced out synths and understated samples, allowing plenty of room for Minus’ celestially sublime vocals plenty of room to breathe, as the repeated vocal chant about “open, interdependent love” of “I’m not holding on / I’m not letting go” hypnotises more and more with each repetition.

On their new EP, Minus says compared to her solo work that she produces herself, “It’s way more intimate and vulnerable”, continuing. “I want people to listen to the songs and feel like I’m holding onto them. I’m giving people a place in this EP where they can feel like they belong.
