Music Video Premiere: MAVER - Close Enough

Be the first to view the Boorloo-based artist's self-directed animated video accompanying his latest electro-pop single.

Hailing from Boorloo/Perth comes electronic artist MAVER, a performer since age 10 who found his way into electronic music, making sounds influenced by luminaries Flume, Whethan, and BAYNK. Following the release of his recent electro-pop tune Close Enough, he unveils the self-directed accompanying animated video, exploring the tracks' themes of affection and belonging.

Vividly 3D animated by Jacob Horan, MAVER shares that “The story is based on the idea of someone being your emotional support system and being there for one another to help each other get through struggles. When one person moves forward and you want to move forward with then but you can’t seem to find a way to do it, you can try your hardest but may need that last little bit of help to help you reach where you want to be.”

Infectiously fun and reminiscent of early 2000’s post-claymation/ early CGI cartoons, be sure to watch the official video for MAVER’s latest single Close Enough, as we premiere it today below.
