Armed with their debut single Inside Your Sun, Australian duo Venus II are pushing some big, unexplored sounds. Established as the dream-team pairing between Eagle & The Worm’s Jarrad Brown and Canyons’ Ryan Grieve, Venus II’s debut is bold and unique, sporting a bizarre, psychedelic-house sound that combines elements of both traditional psych-rock and electronic. Opening with airy synth chords and vocal samples, it doesn’t take long for Inside Your Sun to heat up, with screeching guitar and a driving, house beat layered over empowering vocals.
