Listen to Kaytranada's brand new, guest-heavy second album, BUBBA

Arriving three years after his sensational debut album 99.9%, the record puts the famed beat-maker back on top.

RIP to everyone who has already put out their 'best albums of the year' lists, because Kaytranada is here to mess 'em all up. Three years after the release of his career-defining debut record 99.9% - one amongst the best electronic albums in the last decade, and one that still gets an often spin here some three years post-release - he's today shared his long-awaited second record BUBBA, a collection of 17 tracks that prove that he's not a one-trick musical pony.

Like his debut, BUBBA is a record thick on Kaytranada's collaborative brilliance. The four-track run amongst the album's centre point - 10%Need ItTaste and Oh No - provides examples of Kaytranada's brilliance in groove-led R&B, enlisting the genre's finest rising forces for the occasion in Kali Uchis, Masego, VanJess and Estelle. Elsewhere, Mick Jenkins, GoldLink and TDE accomplice SiR inject a more hip-hop-centric sound, built upon the same, rich funk grooves that define Kaytranada's sound, while the album's last moment sees him team up with one of the world's formidable names in production, Pharrell Williams.

There's a lot to take in on this record, and with it being so long since his last, we're just gonna shut up and let Kaytranada do the talking. Dive into BUBBA below, and catch on the east-coast FOMO lineup alongside BROCKHAMPTON, Lizzo and more - it's quickly becoming the festival lineup of the summer.

Tour Dates:
