Sydney producer Dro Carey has teamed up with Sierra Leonan, Sydney-based rapper Chocolate and London MC Cadell to bring us the perfectly grimey new single Elevate. Taking influence from his roots in grime, Elevate combines a hard-hitting, bass-driven beat with the smooth, pacey lyrical flows of Cadell and Chocolate. While we see a departure from the beatmaker's previous work on the Dark Zoo EP, Elevate delivers a streamlined, no chorus approach that shines a light on the fiery verses of Cadell and Chocolate.
