AlunaGeorge performed a live show on Minecraft because 2016

Her live performance at The Gathering was virtually streamed through the program earlier this year.

AlunaGeorge’s live presence is out of this world, something that should be well-known already if you’ve caught them at any of their recent Australian shows. Teaming up with the absolutely mammoth online game Minecraft, AlunaGeorge has taken the realm of live performances to a whole new level, having her performance at Norway’s The Gathering Festival simultaneously streamed in block-form on an online Minecraft server. It’s a pretty amazing feat in bringing rising technological advances and the music world together and considering how well-received the show was, it wouldn’t surprise me if we saw more of these virtual concerts happening in the future.
