Listen: AlunaGeorge feat. Popcaan - I'm In Control

AlunaGeorge enlist 'Good Times' rapper Popcaan for some fresh fiyah.

It doesn't feel like three years since the release of Body Music, the album that took vocalist Aluna Francis and producer George Reid from a mostly unknown UK indie act to a duo in demand on festival stages the world over with catchy tracks Your Drums, Your Love, and Attracting Flies et al. The duo haven't been out of the limelight since then though - only last year, the band's four-year-old breakout track You Know You Like It was given a second rinsing, climbing the charts once more after DJ Snake took his hand to it.

If you were listening to triple j this morning you might have heard AlunaFrancis get on the line to introduce the duo's brand new single, I'm In Control, and announce that an album I Remember, is en route very soon, featuring none other that homeboy Flume on the title track. The ZHU collab Automatic will also be included on the album.

You may recognise the voice on I'm In Control - AlunaGeorge have recruited Jamaican rapper Popcaan for vocals, an artist whose star is very much on the rise since his feature on jamie xx's Good Times, a number that made many a 'top tracks of 2015' list. Listen to the new material below:
