"ALTA are one of Australia's most exciting electronic acts right now" is how we led an interview with the Melbourne pairing last year, who, at the time, were prepping for an Australia-wide tour off the back of their incredible, UK garage-infused single Sentiment. Six months later, and the duo have done nothing but cemented this superlative claim, returning with a sensational new single in Now You Want Me as well as a slot on this year's Splendour In The Grass. Now You Want Me is more of an upbeat and vivacious track from the typically subtle duo, but it works wonders. Contrasting a club-ready, house-orientated production overflowing with bright melodies and intricate percussion with the emotive vocals of Hannah Lesser, Now You Want Me is a reminder of ALTA's powress at crafting dynamic and sure-fire productions, something that have seen the duo become one of Australia's most exciting.
