Premiere: Grant Summerland - Real Boy

Checkout the addictively catchy new single of indie rock and pop punk flavours from the Californian artist’s forthcoming EP

Back with his first new music in three years is Santa Cruz-based DIY singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Grant Summerland, with his infectious new single of indie rock with a healthy injection of pop sensibilities Real Boy premiering on Pilerats today.

Having developed a four piece live band, Grant & The Summerlands, Real Boy is the first taste of the forthcoming Unnatural History EP, a release that shows the influence of his live band, while hinting at possible future directions.

Regarding his new single, Summerland says "Real Boy is an anthemic single that is reminiscent of power rock from the 1970s and 1990s mixed with modern indie rock. This song sets up the themes of my new EP Unnatural History and makes for a perfect summer banger."

Give this summer banger a spin as it premieres on Pilerats today and see below for more info on the forthcoming Unnatural History EP.

Grant Summerland’s new EP Unnatural History is out February 10
