Listen to Know You Better, the disco-infused lead single from Leisure's debut album

One of many highlights from the Auckland outfit's new self-titled LP.

2016 has been a huge year for disco and R&B inspired tunes, and Auckland five-piece Leisures have delivered another funked-out banger in the form of Know You Better, the latest single from their debut, self-titled LP. Written across one of the band's week-long stays at a West Auckland beach house; Leisure's debut record centres on the band's flexibility and openness to switching things up; with all five members of the band able to play each other's instruments as well as contribute vocally. The self-titled album sees an array of influences and intricacies thrown into the writing mix, from 70's disco through to 80's R&B and 90's hip-hop. Bright keys, crisp percussion and smooth-as-butter vocals all add to Know You Better being being one of Leisure's most irresistible tunes to date, and one that's sure to have you spinning their new album on repeat for the next week.
