Here's your chance to win flights, accom + tickets to the NT's Wide Open Space Fest

Wanna get yourself to one of Australia's most beautiful musical festivals for no money? Here's your chance.

Wide Open Space Festival is one of the most beautiful festivals Australia has to offer, with the Central Australian event being a weekend-long testament of the remarkability of Australia's natural beauty and how it can be fused with music and culture to amplify it - something the festival has specialised in over the last ten years. In short, they take artists on the international fringes - usually hip-hop elites like Sampa The Great and underground dance heavyweights - and place them in a resort just out of Alice Springs; where music, culture, desert beauty and community combine for three days.

As such, you're right in thinking that it's an event quick to sell out. This year, Wide Open Space Festival sold out in near-record time despite not a single artist being announced yet (that's coming soon though, don't you worry), with all adult tickets for the festival sold out for their current capacity. There's a waitlist for tickets in case the venue capacity is able to be increased with easing restrictions - you can find that here - but if that's not your thing, then Wide Open Space Festival are holding their yearly #MeetYouInTheMiddle competition, and we've got all the deets.

This year's #MeetYouInTheMiddle competition basically makes Wide Open Space 2021 an paid holiday; the winner getting: 2 x General Admission Full Festival Tickets (3 days) to Wide Open Space Festival 2021; return flights for two from the nearest capital city; return shuttle transfers; a Wide Open Space Festival merch back and bar voucher and even tents and swags so you can camp at the festival. In other words, all travel, accommodation, entry - even some of your drinks - will be covered by the festival, if you take out the competition.

All you gotta do is head to their website, fill out your details, and answer the following question as creatively as you can: What does 'W.O.S.' stand for? Yes, it does stand for Wide Open Space, but they're looking for creative, fun and out-of-the-box answers.

The competition is open to all non-Northern Territory-based Australians, with entries closing on February 8th. You can find the full terms and conditions here.

So go on, get cracking, and tell Wide Open Space Festival what W.O.S. stands for to win. You can find more information about the festival's 2021 event here, and stay tuned for more - including their imminent first lineup announcement.
