The second taste of the hip hop duo's upcoming album Reclaim Australia
Australian hip hop duo A.B. Original, consisting of Indigenous talents Briggs and Trials, have today unleashed the second single from upcoming debut album Reclaim Australia. Titled January 26, recalling the precise annual date of nationally acknowledged (if only controversially so) Australia Day, and features Melbourne singer-songwriter Dan Sultan in a bold, emotionally charged effort from the talented pairing.
“January 26 represents the annual frustration many Indigenous Australians feel from the farce of a holiday,” A.B. Original note, recalling the context and message behind the latest release, poised to be commercially released on August 19.
The duo will also be showcasing their talents, and supporting the upcoming album Reclaim Australia, with two high profile appearances in the month of September. Beginning with a keynote appearance at Brisbane's BIGSOUND on September 8 before joining Rolling Stone Australia for an intimate Live Lounge appearance at Melbourne venue The Worker's Club on September 29, the tickets for which can be purchased now via OzTix.
