Willaris. K releases grinding new single, Risen, shares details for debut EP Alchemy

His basically sold-out east coast tour kicked off last night.

With his eagerly anticipated Alchemy EP coming this June via the good folks at Soothsayer, Willaris. K has unveiled his latest slice of brooding electronica - Risen. Another warping deep dive into emotive, pulsing dance music, it's further evidence of a dude set to take the world by storm: "Risen was a bit of a breakthrough where I blocked out everything that was happening around me and just wrote something that was a reflection of how I was feeling at the time. I was taking my laptop everywhere, recording random sounds through my laptop mic, going into old ideas and being overly ruthless on them by deleting everything but a few elements that I thought had potential to become something new."

From recently playing Coachella, to his upcoming east coast tour which keeps selling out shows, and plaudits from the likes of Pete Tong, if you're not already it's time to board this hype train, because it's gathering steam at an immense pace.

TOUR DATES:

Fri 4 May - Oxford Art Factory, Sydney

Sat 5 May -Oxford Art Factory, Sydney (SOLD OUT)

Fri 11 May - The TBC Club, Brisbane (SOLD OUT)

Sat 12 May - Hugs & Kisses, Melbourne (SOLD OUT)
