NAO just dropped a remix package full of electronic's brightest stars

Her For All We Know remix EP includes Kaytranada, Mura Masa, SBTRKT, Stormzy and more.

Fresh off the Laneway Festival tour (where she shined as one of our personal stand-outs), British vocalist NAO has just released a very, very exciting remix package for her 2016 debut record For All We Know. The For All We Know remix EP boasts names including Mura Masa, Stormzy, Kaytranada and even the return of SBTRKT, who team up to remix some of their personal favourites from her full-length. Mura Masa kicks things off keeping it low-key, adding some tropical, dance-hall-esque flavours underneath NAO’s pitched-up vocals on his edit of In The Morning, with the all-round sophistication of the remix mirroring their previous collaboration Firefly. London-based beat-maker LOXE, who worked on the original record as a producer, teams up with grime rapper Stormzy for an electrifying remix of Feels Like for the EP’s second flip, with Stormzy’s now easily-recognizable flow paired with a stabbing production that really takes things up a notch from the original. Kaytranada showcases his irresistible, soul-leaning groove on his world-class flip of Get To Know Ya, with these soulful vibes continued on Sam Gellaitry’s remix, who adds a percussion-led, jazzy touch to DYWM. The most unexpected remix on the package however comes from SBTRKT, who, up until now, has been rather quiet for much of 2016 working on a new record. The masked producer’s remix of Bad Blood stands out, with the triumphant vocals from the original and layers of bass combining for more of a down-tempo remix. Listen to the whole remix package below, and be sure to keep on eye out for all these artists in 2017. Stormzy’s debut record Gang Signs & Prayer drops in just two weeks, with Mura Masa, Kaytranada and SBTRKT all tipped to release world-class albums sometime this year.
