Music Video Premiere: Tired Girl - Giving You Up

Check out the nostalgic coastal themed video for lead track from Aussie ethereal electro pop artist’s debut EP before it drops tomorrow

Stepping out in solo mode from her work with duo TEES is Illawarra’s Liz Tillman as Tired Girl, who utilises the versatility of her silvery vocals coupled with electronic music production techniques to create dreamy electro pop like Giving You Up, lifted from her new EP Internal.

With lusciously layered vocal harmonies meeting head-nod inducing drum machines and bouncy bass lines, smooth as silk sax, spacey synth pads and sparkling keys, Giving You Up sounds like the best modern version of a climactic late 80s / early 90s cult film soundtrack that never was.

Giving You Up comes from Tired Girl’s debuit EP Internal, a release that “explores and celebrates grief, longing, heartbreak, loneliness, anger, rage, disgust, fear and love; ultimately revelling in the vulnerability of human experience from all sides, particularly the ones we usually try to hide.

Check out the windswept, coastal themed video for Giving You Up premiering on Pilerats today ahead of Internal’s release tomorrow!
