Premiere: Ok Sure teases her upcoming EP with cruisy new single, Nightshade

The Melbourne-based producer makes what might be her most accessible track to date.

It's quite fitting that Melbourne's Ok Sure releases her new single on Friday the 13th. When we first introduced her earlier this year, the vibe was quite dark and down-tempo, in both the sonic and visual aesthetic. That said, while the date is apt, the first taste of her forthcoming EP is probably her most accessible to date, with Nightshade having an almost throwback feel to it, taking us back to the electro-house days of the mid-2000s. That's not to say it sounds dated - far from it - it's a deep, groovy track with some haunting, echoy synths floating around Ok Sure's silky smooth vocal work. It's an exciting first step, and we can't wait to see how the rest of the EP rolls out over the coming months, released independently via her own label, WHTVR.
