In celebration of Ausmusic Month, Sydney drummer/producer/DJ Commandeur has released a smooth new single featuring vocals from Melbourne’s Yeo. We've been throwing plenty of love in Yeo's direction the past couple of weeks, and his addition to the bubbly, synth-drenched production of Commandeur on Speak Your Mind is a match made in heaven. The track comes as Commandeur finally gets a bit of time off after touring with Tkay recently and laying down some pearler live drumming videos (which I can now stop bugging him about - thanks for moving teh cymbal man!).
He'll be getting off the percussion kit and into DJ mode this weekend, playing the launch of YOURS (Beach Road Hotel, Bondi) on November 26 and Marco Polo (Ivy Pool) on November 27. Until then, enjoy the warm embrace of this fantastic team-up tune from two of Australia's very, very bright young things.
