Listen: Jerome Blazé - Boundless Horizon EP

A ridiculously impressive debut EP by one of Australia's youngest producers.

A few days ago we were introduced to Jerome Blazé, a 16-year-old producer out of New South Wales and his single Heartbeat. With a heavy synth line and brimming percussion, Heartbeat has us comparing him to legendary producer Porter Robinson, as well as begging him for more. Today, the young'un has released his debut EP, entitled Boundless Horizon. The five-track EP kicks off with Sky, a bass-heavy tune wrapped in sparkling synth, piano chords and soft computerized vocals, before slowing up for Glimmer, a softer tune showcasing impressive vocal skills and building synth before exploding into his signature glitchy sound. Set Me Free, the third song, has a strangely unique tropical vibe too it, with banging drums and dreamy vocals before exploding into Heartbeat, the single we featured last week. Ending with Departure, Blazé's impressive production work shines on his debut EP, a release stronger than many we've seen this year twice his age and experience. Listen below and be sure to cop that free download via his soundcloud when you can.
