Touch Sensitive is finally releasing his debut album and that is cause for celebration

September 15, mark it in your goddamn diary fam.

In a just world, Touch Sensitive's recent comeback track, Lay Down, would win triple j's Hottest 100 this year. It is a party-starting fucking jam - go on, cue it up at your next house party and marvel as the (I'm assuming) previously subdued affair turns into a shit hot lit mess of insanity and people start grinding on whatever the hell they can find. Am I bering hyperbolic? I don't care, Lay Down is a tune. At the time of release the man himself stated, "I’ve always had a two or three year gap between releases, so why break the tradition now? Whenever I make something, I ask myself two questions, ‘Would I keep this in my iTunes?’ and ‘Would I show this to my friends?’ That’s really how I judge music."

Well it looks like he's now got a heap of new music that he's very ready to show his friends, with the news he's releasing his debut album, Visions, via Future Classic on September 15. It comes with a neat little teaser video, which you can check out below, along with the album's tracklist:

1. First Slice (Intro)
2. Lay Down
3. Veronica
4. Lose It All
5. Comfortable feat. Harriet Brown
6. Comfortable feat. Harriet Brown (Reprise)
7. The Mystery Of Cats
8. No Other High feat. Electric Fields
9. Two Walls feat. Tori Zietsch
10. Known Better
11. Don't Stop The Beat
12. You Are My Last Chance (Interlude)
13. Putting On Airs feat. WILLS

The interludes and reprises, along with the fact we haven't heard anything on here besides Lay Down, are what excites the most. Touch Sensitive is old school, he's not just trying to make something that streams good on Spotify, he's making a complete package that I feel fairly confident will be something special. Colour me super fucking excited, and front of stage when he travels the country with a full live band for the upcoming Listen Out festivals.
