Listen: Turtle - Silent Weapons

Ghostly sounds and slow beats feature in Turtle’s latest track.

UK alternative electronic-producer Jon Cooper, better known as Turtle, has just released his latest track, Silent Weapons from his upcoming EP Colours, and its synth-wave beat has left us trembling. After the success of Lavender, a track with a repetitive flow that is a shot of straight electronica haze pulsed by a singular vocal echo, Silent Weapons showcases the Scottish newcomers strengths as an electronic producer. Alongside lyrical complexity, the slow yet steady burning beat that is Silent Weapons falsely builds almost to a point of teasing as Cooper’s antique-ethereal vocals soothe and tug at you. We’re hooked. Let's just say that if happy-melancholy were a thing, that is what this track projects - Turtle has got us feeling all the feelings.
