Nick Murphy's search for the vision continues with a cinematic short film for Missing Link

Nick Murphy's search for the vision continues with a cinematic short film for Missing Link

He's joining LCD Soundsystem for their tour in Australia next month.

A few months ago we copped Medication, a hot mess of a single from the artist forrmerly known as Chet Faker, Nick Murphy - at the time proclaiming we were all in for whatever creative journey the man is embarking on since operating under his given name. And today that wonderful journey contines with a pretty damn epic short film for his EP from last year, Missing Link. Co-written and directed by Murphy and Australian filmmaker/musician Johann Rashid, it's an eight-minute epic that features music from the 2017 EP, including his Kaytranada colab, Your Time, along with a starring turn from Murphy himself.

The resulting product is a great watch, and we recommend doing so before seeing the man live in Australia next month as he joins legendary indie-dance punks LCD Soundsystem for a huge tour around Australia (check those dates down the bottom, and get tickets HERE).

TOUR DATES:

Mon 12 Feb - HBF Stadium, Perth

Thu 15 Feb - Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne

Fri 16 Feb - Hordern Pavilion, Sydney

Wed 21 Feb - Riverstage, Brisbane

Sat 24 Feb - Spark Arena, Auckland
