With a beguiling blend of indie/electronic/R&B/pop, Sydney duo Maari have been crafting a serious name for themselves since forming last year, and their latest single Desire only adds more kindling to an already fiere flame. Vocalist Brontee Maree explains just why this track is oozing in sensuality: "Desire is an expression of craving and indulgence. It pays homage to women with a fierce, untameable sexuality. Written to empower women in owning their bodies; we wanted to address the idea of desire through strong, unashamed lyrics."
