Watch: HAAi - Purple Jelly Disc ft. Obi Franky

The latest collaboration from the London-based producer, giving a high-energy slice of what’s to come with May's LP.

Last month London-based Australian producer HAAi gave us a masterful mixture of breakbeat driven techno and electro-pop with the single Bodies Of Water. Today she’s back, with a little help from London artist Obi Franky to deliver another dance floor smash taken from the forthcoming album Baby, We’re Ascending, a hypnotic track titled Purple Jelly Disc.

The track is equal parts powerful and beautiful, delivering a high-energy feel driven by intricately chopped breakbeats and swirls of uplifting synths dynamically surging through the six-minute length of the track, with Obi Franky’s dreamy but succinct vocals stirring and soaring delightfully throughout.

With the release of the album set for May 27, we can expect some more killer collaborations including from Jon Hopkins and Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip) to come - but until then hype yourself up with this electronic slice of bliss below, and the appropriately tripped out psychedelic video packed with fractals and infinite regressions.

HAAi's new album Baby, We're Ascending is out May 27 via Mute.
