Legendary Australian dance music maestro Willaris. K is back with his latest late-night techno cut titled Melt. Since the release of his Full Noise EP in 2020 (which we chatted to WK about here) the producer has put out a handful of remixes, opening a new chapter with the release of Slow Down and now Melt this year - alongside a huge run of tour dates, his biggest headline tour to date to be exact, that kicks off this September.

Co-writter and produced with Seekae’s George Nicholas (Cosmo's Midnight, Genesis Owusu, 1300, Young Franco), Melt is a hard-hitting club ready track, created with Willaris. K’s earliest fans and style at its core. On the release he shares that I started Melt at the start of 2020 in Sydney with my friend George Nicholas (from Seekae). It was the first one I made out of all these new songs, and it was the first time I felt like revisiting the sonic zone where I first started with a new perspective. It came together quickly and felt cathartic to be making heavy shit again. Like I was revisiting a place I’d been avoiding for a while. After my Alchemy EP I wanted to make anything but that, and it took a few side quests making different music to come back and do it with the right intentions.”

Out now, be sure to hit play on Willaris. K’s new blistering track Melt below, whilst you keep an eye on when his hard-hitting live show will be in a city near you.
