Today electro-pop duo Purity Ring give us their first taste of new music for 2022 with the release of their latest single Graves. Consisting of Megan James and Corin Roddick, Purity Ring have been consistently producing well-polished, catchy anthems for a number of years now with an impressive back catalogue, introducing us to an exciting new era with their previous offering soshy.
Sticking to their electronic alt-pop roots, Graves is a dreamy track that utilises building beats, atmospheric synths, and a catchy shimmering synth riff that rings with the essence of a nostalgic PC start-up tune to accompany sweet soaring vocal melodies. With rich production embellishing Megan's unique and tender voice, the three and a half minute track is uplifting and thoughtfully dynamic.
