Purity Ring return with a celebratory new single, Asido

The stand-alone single celebrates five years since the release of their debut album, Shrines.

Celebrating the five-year anniversary of their debut album Shrines, esteemed Canadian electronic duo Purity Ring have returned with a stirring new single, Asido. The single immediately takes us back to the washed out and expansive sounds of favourites like Fineshrine, with the airy vocals of frontwoman Megan James stirring above a dark and moody production which oozes with a harrowing synth line. Listen to the track below, which James describes as "a tractor digging graves", "I imagine crying blood, and I imagine eggs being swept away in it.”
