Listen to Shockone's mammoth new remix for Dillon Francis & NGHTMRE

Perth's drum and bass lord takes Need You for a wild, dub-infused ride.

For Shockone, 2016 is all about catapulting his name to a whole new level. It kicked off with the Ragga Twins-featuring single City Lock (paired with the announcement that he's joining the Falcona team as well as a mammoth Australia-wide tour), then his sprawling Jamie XX remix, before delving into a more commercial, Porter Robinson-esque sound with In This Light, the title track from his just-released EP AND teaming up HWLS for the quick-pacing single Gamma, which blended together sounds reminiscent of Rustie and Eprom. As if that wasn't enough, the dude is not quite done yet, with today bringing more new Shockone in the form of a remix, with the drum and bass extraordinaire taking on Dillon Francis' and NGHTMRE's highly-hyped collaboration Need You for a spin. Where as the original went down a more Dillon Francis-esque moombahton route (its accompanying film clip is bloody hilarious, if you haven't seen it yet), Shockone has completely switched it up, upping the BPM and blending in his dub roots for an action-packed remix that's powerful and relentless. Listen to the remix below.
