Tina Says delivers with a raw, jungle-influenced new track, Check It

The Perth producer's massive new banger comes with a four-date Australian tour to match.

Setting herself up as somewhat of a staple in Perth's quite lacking house scene, Tina Says has become a breath of fresh air in a trap and dub-dominated market, teasing us over the past 12 months with cuts such as Burning Desires and her packing Alison Wonderland remix, as well as world-class sets supporting names including Motez and Peking Duk. After being a highlight of our Smirnoff Stage takeover at Splendour a few weeks back (alongside Enschway, Time Pilot and a surprise low-key What So Not set), today sees Tina Says up herself to a whole new level, delivering with a brand spankin' new track Check It. Blending her industrial-house roots with a new found jungle-influenced sound, Check It is raw, powerful and best of all, unlike anything else coming out of Australia right now. Driven by a pulsating, cluttered percussion line, it takes a while for Check It to heat up but when it does it wrecks havoc, stampeding with a dark, brooding feel throughout the track's three minute duration. Track aside, today also brings news of Tina's debut Australian tour, which will see her flex her heavy house originals and more at shows in Sydney, the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Perth - dates below.
