GRAACE arrives with her exciting debut single, Kissing Boys

After her excellent Hayden James feature last year, the Sydney artist is ready to shine.

Didn’t know what I was getting myself into” are the opening lyrics to GRAACE’s (the voice behind Hayden James’ NUMB) debut single, and the perfect analogy of how listeners are going to feel heading into this sweet, yet quietly sad genius-ballad. After a #32 placing in the hottest 100 with NUMB, angel-voiced GRAACE is stepping out on her own, swapping Hayden James’ distinct, synth-filled sound with a traditional piano paired with some really clever, electric production. Premiering on Good Nights with Bridget Hustwaite yesterday, GRAACE moves her lyrics around the track’s bright instrumentals with the skill of a pro, with vocals reminiscent of a cooler, female James Bay. The angelic track catches you instantly, and builds to a brilliant climax, as the singer reflects on a lost love, which will have you swaying, dancing, or crying.

GRAACE is currently lending her vocals on tour with Flight Facilities around Australia and Groovin The Moo, which is only the beginning of what is looking to be a busy, and exciting year for the Sydney singer. The infection of pop and heartbreak in this debut props GRAACE up as not just one to watch, but one to keep our eyes (and ears) glued to.
