Feels drop vibrant new single, Cutiepie, taking Women Of Music Production Perth national

The WA production duo are opening their label/agency/Ableton community to the rest of Oz.

Hot on the heels of their fantastic single They Need Us with Stella Donnelly (Purple Sneakers wrap up its important wonderfully HERE), WA production duo and heads of Women Of Music Production Perth (WOMPP) Feels are back with another typically vibrant new single in Cutiepie. Upbeat, bouncy, at times ethereal, it's another wonderfully percussive piece of electronic that adds to their already very strong quiver of left-field bangers that bring the vibe (buy it here).

The track's release also marks the news that they're taking their female-run label/booking agency/Ableton community WOMPP to a national audience, offering the opportunity for female, transgender and non-binary music-makers to "share, discuss and showcase music production within the broader Australian music community". Indeed, as of today WOMPP will be hitting the road to take in the rest of the country: "Expanding WOMPP to a national level will allow us to encourage a larger group of music makers to develop their production skills and give confidence to our upcoming female, trans and non-binary producers. We will be organising annual WOMPP meetings in each major Australian city, which will involve free lectures in Ableton Live, guest presentations from established artists and track sharing from members. Although we are expanding to a national level, we are proud of the heritage of this community and will therefore be keeping the extra P in ‘WOMPP’."

And while we think WOMPA is a missed opportunity, we're excited to see how much new and exciting talent can find a pathway to the wider Australian electronic music scene through this awesome community.

Head to the WOMPP WEBSITE or FACEBOOK for more info, and follow Feels on FACEBOOK to keep up to speed with their goings on, including an upcoming single launch at Mojos on September 1.
