Braille Face returns with a vibrant new single, Run For Your Life

The Melbourne producer drops his first single in 12 months, and it's a beauty.

Since releasing his incredible debut album Kōya 12 months ago, Melbourne's Braille Face has been laying low on the release-front, slowly piecing together Kōya's highly-awaited follow up. Run For Your Life, the first single since his debut album last year, sees Braille Face return to his vibrant and lively sound, piecing together a driving percussion line with delicate piano melodies and a rich vocal, which hauntingly glides above the single's contrasting, upbeat production. “I wrote this song after purchasing a beautiful old upright piano for $200 off Gumtree," says Braille Face on the single, which arrives through Australian independent label Spirit Level. "It was all out of tune after the move, but the micro-tones it was producing helped inform the song.” Listen to the track below, and stay tuned as Braille Face sets to make 2017 another big year.
