Asta links up with Yeo for a funky af new single, Shine

It'll lead into a new EP in the new year, but not before Wonderland in a few weeks time.

It was only last week that we were once again extolling the production prowess of Melbourne's Yeo as one of Austrlaia's most exciting and intriguing young producers, and now he's thrown us another curveball with Asta's new single, Shine. A supremely funked-up jam that at first sounds like it could be something out of The Rolling Stones back catalogue, very quickly turns into an up-beat disco number that feels as retro as it does fresh. Of course, none of it would work without Asta's powerful vocal work, and it makes for an irresistible combo.

Take a listen below, and catch Asta at the upcoming Wonderland festival, which just added Japanese Wallpaper and Dune Rats to proceedings - more info/tickets HERE.
