Alice Ivy and Bertie Blackman share a washed-out new collab, Chasing Stars

The dreamy new collaboration arrives ahead of Alice Ivy's debut album I'm Dreaming, set for release on February 9.

Ahead of the release of her debut album I'm Dreaming – set to arrive through Dew Process/Universal Music Australia on February 9th – Melbourne instrumentalist Alice Ivy has shared some of 2017's most spectacular electronic moments. Get Me A Drink, which featured Australian pop vocalist E^ST and rap outfit Charlie Threads, brought together an ensemble of some of Australia's most exciting names for a shimmering electro-pop delight, which she then followed up with the hip-hop tinged Be Friends – a song she mashed together with another of her highlights Touch for a Live Session with us late last yearChasing Stars is Alice Ivy's latest album tease, and like those before it, it's a charming, washed-out slice of electronica perfect for those sun-soaked summer weekends. Underneath a lush instrumental crafted by Alice Ivy, renowned Australian songwriter Bertie Blackman donates a tender and at times quite raw vocal feature which perfectly works with the subtle production which twinkles behind it.

"Chasing Stars is one of my favourite moments of the album," says Ivy on the single. "The dynamics of the instrumentation are the perfect fit to the strong and sometimes fragile moments of Bertie’s vocals on the song, which are SO rich with emotion and meaning." Listen to the single below, and make sure you catch Alice Ivy at one of her many national headline shows that'll run after the album release – find the full dates below. Pre-order I'm Dreaming HERE.
