Hailing from Boorloo/ Perth comes a trio of rockers by the name Sky Cave. Selling out headline shows throughout Western Australia - including on Rottnest Island, they’re an exciting up and coming outfit who not only deliver a killer live show, but have the musicianship and songwriting ability to back it up. Today we give you an early listen to their latest single Fall ahead of it’s official release tomorrow.

Providing a well needed voice of compassion, Fall is a personal yet compassionate track on the destructive effects of mental illness, Sky Cave sharing “This song is about being there for each other through chaotic times. It was based around the theme of the feeling individuals can experience when the world and their surroundings become too much for them to handle. Sometimes all it can take is one person’s support to change your whole mindset’’.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by multi-award winning singer songwriter Nathan Gaunt from Central Studios, Sky Cave look up to blues and rock legends like Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Led Zeppelin, as well as modern contemporaries Ocean Alley, Middle Kids, and Wolfmother to inspire their legendary yet relevant sound.

Launching the track next Thursday at Mojo’s Bar in Fremantle, be sure to get across Sky Cave’s Fall as it premieres today below.
