Premiere: Paige Barnard - Forget You

Naarm/Melbourne-based singer-songwriter unveils her poignant & stirring debut single of piano pop for fans of Angie McMahon, Adele and Meg Mac

After spending the last decade honing her craft, Yarra Valley-based artist Paige Barnard is ready to release her debut single Forget You, out March 29 and premiering on Pilerats today.

Inspired by the songwriting voices of Adele and Fleetwood Mac, as well as the authenticity of Missy Higgins and sincerity of Carole King, Barnard’s debut single sees stirring strings alongside big, bold piano and Paige’s soaring voice pulling the listener into her musical world.

Produced by George Carpenter (Ash Grunwald) and Ian Peres (Amy Shark, Wolfmother), Barnard wrote Forget You following the end of a long distance relationship, tapping into the heartache that comes with accepting something is over and it being time to move on.

Grab the tissues and give Forget You a spin ahead of its release!
