Premiere: Halcyon Drive unveil another tiger-tight new single, Silver Ray

Halcyon Drive are a Melbourne-based group we've talked about quite a bit on Pilerats, and the reason for that is their insane ability to continue popping out impeccably made indie-pop tracks that hit every time. And the latest effort that we're premiering today is no exception. Silver Ray is taken from their forthcoming debut album due later this year, recorded and produced by Joel Quartermain (Meg Mag, Dustin Tebbutt), and it absolutely slaps. Crisp production, energetic and punchy drums, catchy, anthemic vocals and perfect indie-rock guitars make for another winning slice of sophisticated indie-pop.
