Premiere: Halcyon Drive unveil another tiger-tight new single, Silver Ray

It comes with a couple of upcoming show dates.

Halcyon Drive are a Melbourne-based group we've talked about quite a bit on Pilerats, and the reason for that is their insane ability to continue popping out impeccably made indie-pop tracks that hit every time. And the latest effort that we're premiering today is no exception. Silver Ray is taken from their forthcoming debut album due later this year, recorded and produced by Joel Quartermain (Meg Mag, Dustin Tebbutt), and it absolutely slaps. Crisp production, energetic and punchy drums, catchy, anthemic vocals and perfect indie-rock guitars make for another winning slice of sophisticated indie-pop.

But don't take our word for it, take a listen below and catch 'em at a couple of upcoming show dates listed down the bottom:

UPCOMING SHOWS:

Thu 22 Mar - The Workers Club, Melbourne

Sun 25 Mar - The Hills Are Alive, Wonthaggi
