Listen to a killer new single from The Tapes, You Know It's Real

The Sydney duo back up their cracking first single with ease.

After bursting out of the blocks with their fantastic debut single, At All, The Tapes have shown they're not messing around with its follow up - You Know It's Real. Where At All came with a slight The xx vibe, its follow-up feels like some kind of glorious mish-mash of Phoenix, LCD Soundsytem and Two Door Cinema Club - to name a few.

Something about the whole project feels like they miss the music we used to love from just 5-10 years ago (decades in Internet music time), and rather than simply replicate it, are crafting something their own that just has little bits and pieces of the people music we love.

It's perfect, and one gets the feeling things are really going to ramp up very quickly, especially once they unveil their live show, which you can see the debut of Thursday 10 November at Civic Underground in Sydney (details HERE).
