Watch: SG Lewis - Lifetime

Watch: SG Lewis - Lifetime

The singer-songwriter-producer flexes his smooth sounds and moves, ahead of upcoming Australian dates and a full-length album.

A couple of months ago musical maestro SG Lewis shared the news of a forthcoming LP AudioLust & HigherLove with the release of Vibe Like This ft. Ty Dolla $ign & Lucky Daye (which you can read more about here). Continuing to tease the album's expansive and ambitious track listing, he unveils the latest single Lifetime which arrives alongside an accompanying music clip and Australian summer dates for Wildlands, Beyond The Valley and Field Day from Dec/Jan 2022-23.

Grounded in a steady beat and grooving bass line, funky guitar strums, strings and layers of reverb-drenched harmonies back SG Lewis’ soulful and soaring vocals, the singer-songwrite-producer sharing “I think that ‘Lifetime’ could be my favourite record I’ve ever made.” continuing “I wrote it with my friends Ed Drewett, Reuben James and J Moon late one night at Decoy Studios, and the song is largely about Ed and his wife. It’s a song that channels inspiration from a lot of the music I grew up listening to, and holds a very special place in my heart.” Released alongside a music video starring Lewis as a wedding singer whose ability to serenading a freshly-wed wife is just as smooth as the sounds on the track, it's a light-hearted, aesthetically appealing accompaniment to this impressive pop track.

Be sure to hit play on Lifetime below ahead of AudioLust & HigherLoves release come January 27th, and check when SG Lewis will be performing live in a city near you below.

SG Lewis’ second album AudioLust & HigherLove is out January 27 via EMI Records / Virgin Music Australia.
