Valentine's Day: 69 songs about doing the Devil's Dance

Valentine's Day: 69 songs about doing the Devil's Dance

From Rihanna, Ariana and Troye right through to Marvin Gaye, Peaches and Spice Girls, here's your ultimate guide to songs about doing it.

There are tonnes of internet space taken up by playlists suitable for sex, even Spotify has a whole section dedicated to sultry bangers with playlists including 'Bedroom Jams' right through to 'Lowkey Tech' (the latter doesn't really make sense, but if you wanna do it to Four Tet and Booka Shade, who are we to judge?). However, there are a distinct lack of playlists including music about the act of sex itself (and everything that it encompasses), which is a damn shame because as it turns out, there are a lot of bloody good songs out there about doing the deed.

There are the obvious ones - Rihanna's Sex With Me, Peaches' Fuck The Pain Away, literally anything recorded by The Weeknd - to ones a little more subtle, like Britney's If You Seek Amy (hint: if you say "if you seek Amy" quickly it sounds like something else). There's sultry R&B, quick-paced rap, comedy (hi The Lonely Island) and pop, plus a whole lot in between - like Nine Inch Nails and Tenacious D. There are songs about sex itself, songs leading up to sex, songs about after sex and songs about everything else you can do in the bedroom apart from sex itself (Beyoncé's Blow, for example).

There are endless opportunities and endless songs to choose from, so to celebrate Valentine's Day today, we've put together a playlist of 69 sexual bangers to spice up your Valentine's Day - headphones suggested if you're around your boss.

Oh, and unlike basically any other Valentine's Day playlists around, there's no R Kelly or Chris Brown - guilt-free listening for the win.
