In a pleasant mix of us being lazy and this press release being too good not to just regurgitate, today we share with you the brilliant news that Australia's favourite cop-questioning duo, The Meeting Tree, are hosting a 24-hour lunch to help ring in the new financial year. Over to you though, Joyride:

"Hey guys, Joyride here. Now, I know what you’re thinking... 'What stunt are these savvy Millennials going to pull next? What could they possibly do after that incredibly successful Instagram campaign (@themeetingtree) and viral af clip for R U A Cop that left media and old media types alike mumbling ~clip of the year~ in their sleep as they dreamt of Raph in a wheelchair?' Well, I’m here to tell youse, NO MORE STUNTS! Instead, we plan to usher in our next phase in a professional, dignified and inclusive manner, as we join the world in celebrating the financial year ’15/’16 as The Financial Year Of The Long Lunch by hosting our very own 24 HOUR LONG LUNCH! Our LIVE STREAM from The Lord Gladstone in Chippendale will provide a unique opportunity to pull up a seat with us, starting midday FNYD for 24 hours. Please join us at the pub, eat lunch and keep your receipts! Won’t u join us??"

So put July 1 in the diary, and bookmark  longlunch.themeetingtree.com for the longest lunch ever, no cops:
